Just In Time For Thanksgiving: New Balsamics

Five of our favorite balsamic vinegars are back in stock, and out on the shelves, just in time for Thanksgiving and the holidays:

Vermont Maple Balsamic: Full-bodied, this balsamic’s real maple flavor brings out a sweet taste that enhances each dish. “Good Eats:” try adding a splash of Vermont Maple Balsamic to your morning pancake syrup. Drizzle over pork (chops or loin), or use as you would brown sugar or honey in a marinade. Reduce Vermont Maple Balsamic, and pour over a bowl of butter pecan or vanilla ice cream. Perfect Pairs: Match Vermont Maple Balsamic with any of our extra virgin olive oils, or with our Roasted French Walnut Oil.

Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar: This vinegar adds depth to any of your favorite pan sauces, to braised meats, and fruit compotes. Drizzle a little Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar over poached fruit and ice cream for an elegant and easy dessert. A splash of Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar livens up a fresh green or rice salad, and brings a tasty twist to poultry stuffing. Pairs well with citrus olive oils for a fruity marinade or dressing, or with Chipotle Olive Oil for a spicier combo.

Espresso Balsamic Vinegar: Many people look at us like we are crazy when we say “Try the Espresso Balsamic Vinegar”, but once they have a taste they are hooked. Drizzle some Espresso Balsamic Vinegar over fresh fruit and see what you think. This balsamic also pairs well with chocolate, and it is delicious served with ice cream as well. To dress a salad, try some with Eureka Lemon Olive Oil, or with our mild Sweet Barnea Olive Oil.

Grapefruit White Balsamic Vinegar: You would think that pairing tart grapefruit with tart vinegar would be too much tart for one bottle, but think again — our Grapefruit White Balsamic vinegar sparkles with crisp, sweet citrus flavor.  Use this balsamic vinegar alongside our Pineapple White Balsamic, over peaches, pears, or red grapes. The grapefruit flavor pairs nicely with fennel, and with Blood Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil, makes a citrus-y dressing for green salads. Try a splash of Grapefruit White Balsamic in club soda, or over shaved ice, for a grown-up cold treat!

Cranberry-Pear Balsamic Vinegar: this flavor combination infused with the
balsamic vinegar is sweet, subtly tart and all-around delicious.  “Good Eats:” Try as a marinade for grilled or roasted chicken, use as a glaze over your chicken or pork or as a sweet drizzle over a salad loaded with cheese, fruit and nuts.  Pairs nicely with Blood Orange Olive Oil and any of our mild Extra Virgin Olive Oils.
