There’s nothing quite like a flavorful, beautifully marbled, and perfectly prepared prime rib. For many serious cooks (and eaters), prime rib is synonymous with a fancy dinner out. While the cut of meat isn’t the cheapest, you can easily prepare a delicious prime rib at home. And this coming Monday, National Prime Rib Day, is the perfect day to do it!

Our Prime Rib Rub will help you get it just right. It’s a simple blend of complementary ingredients like pepper, garlic, shallots, salt, onion, rosemary, and bourbon, which enhance the taste of the roast without overwhelming its juicy, natural flavor.

It’s simple to use. Pat your roast dry, lightly rub with olive oil, then coat with the Prime Rib Rub. Wrap the prime rib in plastic wrap and refrigerate up to 24 hours in advance. Roast according to the directions in your favorite recipe. Then voila, enjoy!

Not feeding an army? Ribeye steaks are cut from the same region and boast similar great flavors. Season with the Prime Rib Rub just before grilling. And keep the Prime Rib Rub handy in the spice rack. It’s tasty in other beef dishes like pot roast, meatloaf and burgers.
