Apple Pie Frosting


1 can storebought vanilla buttercream frosting


1/2 Cup butter (1 stick)
1 – 1/2 Cups confectioners’ sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 – 2 Tbsp whipping cream

2 Tbsp Apple Pie Spice Blend


If you’re making the frosting from scratch: Using an electric mixer, cream the butter in a mixing bowl. Slowly add the powdered (confectioners’) sugar, then add the vanilla, mixing until well blended. Add a little whipping cream, if needed, to achieve desired frosting consistency.

Using a spoon or spatula, add Apple Pie Spice Blend to the storebought or homemade frosting, and stir to incorporate the spices throughout.

Use on muffins, ‘Nilla Wafers, cinnamon rolls, carrot cake, or any other “frosting delivery device.”
