1 Cup Balsamic vinegar*
3/4 Cup ketchup
1/3 Cup brown sugar
1 garlic clove, minced
1-1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp mustard, yellow powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 to 1/2 tsp ground smoked black pepper
Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and stir until well combined and the mixture is smooth.
Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes or until the mixture has reduced by 1/3. You don’t need to constantly stir, but you do want to keep an eye on it.
Store in an air tight jar for up to one week.
