4 oz unsweetened chocolate
1 oz bittersweet chocolate
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp vanilla
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Blood Orange Olive Oil
1 cup walnuts, coarsely crushed (if desired)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9×12 baking pan. On low heat, melt chocolate in sauce pan, stirring constantly. Set aside to cool.
In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt. Melt butter, add Blood Orange Olive Oil, sugar and incorporate one egg at a time. Add in vanilla, then chocolate.
Fold in dry ingredients and walnuts (if desired). Try not to over mix the batter. Pour mixture into pan, smoothing off the top. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
Allow to cool before slicing into squares and serving.
