Demerara Simple Syrup

INGREDIENTS
2 parts Demerara Sugar
1 part cold water

STEPS
Combine the Demerara sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. When mixture comes to a near-boil (or boils), stir continuously until sugar dissolves completely. Allow syrup to cool to room temperature before using.

Store in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to one month.
