This is a favorite recipe created by original AllSpice staffer Fran:
Bring water and all the ingredients, except the shrimp, to a boil.
Add 2 lbs. fresh or frozen shrimp in shells (or peeled and cleaned if you don’t want to fuss with them later – although the shells do add extra flavor!). Simmer till the shrimp turn pink, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Drain (and peel and clean now if you didn’t earlier).
Serve chilled with cocktail sauce!
*This is also a great recipe to use with pasta or steak, but you might want to omit the vinegar and pickling spice if you are using it with other seasoned components!
