Spiced Hummus
INGREDIENTS
1 – 15 1/2 oz can garbanzo beans
1/4 Cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Chipotle Olive Oil, Harissa Olive Oil, Sesame Oil, and Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil all work wonders with this recipe!)
1/4 Cup lemon juice
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp Ground Cumin
3/4 tsp Salt
STEPS
In a food processor combine garbanzo beans, tahini, and garlic and pulse to blend. Add in lemon juice, Cumin, salt and Olive Oil of your choice. If needed, add more olive oil to achieve a smooth consistency.
Serve with toasted pita chips or fresh veggies and garnish with Paprika or Za’atar!
