Homemade Chorizo
This recipe comes from Rebecca H. and is part of her 2019 Iowa State Fair award-winning chili!
INGREDIENTS
1 lb ground pork
2 Tbsp Smoked Hot Paprika
1 Tbsp, rounded, of Cumin
2-1/2 tsp Garlic, Granulated
1 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Coriander
3/4 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Thyme
1/2 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1/8 – 1/4 tsp Cloves, ground
3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
STEPS
Mix all ingredients together in a large resealable bag and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
Brown mixture in a large skillet at medium heat, and add to your favorite recipe!
