Hot Chocolate ‘Invierno Contento’

2 Cups Whole Milk
4 Tbsp Allspice Hot Chocolate Cafe Blend
1/2 tsp Sri Lankan “True” Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla Paste
1/4 tsp Ancho Chile Powder
4 Cinnamon Sticks and whipped cream, to garnish

In a medium pot over medium heat, bring milk to a simmer, stirring frequently so that a filmy milk “skin” doesn’t form on the surface.

Turn off the heat and stir in the hot chocolate mix, cinnamon, and powdered ancho chile. Cover the pot and allow flavors to develop over a few minutes.

Bring hot chocolate back up to a simmer, stirring in the vanilla paste. Divide hot chocolate among four mugs, and serve immediately, garnishing each with a cinnamon stick and dollop of whipped cream.
