Melon Cooler

If you want to keep the smoothie dairy-free and vegan, omit the yogurt, and substitute a banana, peach, or 1 Cup of other favorite fruit.


1/2 honeydew melon, peeled, seeded, roughly chopped
1/2 mango, peeled and pith removed
1/4 cup pineapple (fresh or frozen) and/or 1 small yellow guava, seeds removed
1/4 Cup orange juice
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Cup vanilla yogurt (optional)


Put all ingredients in a blender. Pulse to combine until desired smoothness is achieved.  Add a little fruit juice, 1 Tbsp at a time, if a thinner consistency is desired.

Serve in chilled glasses. Garnish with a slice of fresh fruit for a bit of fancy flair.
