Pig Powder Party Mix

2 Tbsp bacon fat
1 Tbsp Pig Powder
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp hot sauce
2 Cups Corn Chex
1 Cup Rice Chex
1 Cup Chili Flavor Corn Nuts
1 Cup Roasted green peas
1 Cup jalapeño flavor Bugles
1 Cup rye chips
1-1/2 tsp honey

Place bacon fat in a 13″x 9″ glass pan. Microwave till bacon fat is melted. Whisk in spice, soy sauce, and hot sauce. Add cereals, Corn Nuts, peas, chips, and bugles. Toss to coat. Microwave, uncovered, for 4 minutes, pausing to stir after each minute elapses.

Remove pan from microwave and drizzle snack mix with honey. Toss to coat party mix and allow to cool completely before serving. Store leftover, cooled snack mix in an airtight container.

Here are the changes I made:  1.) I used the Bacon Olive Oil instead of the bacon fat.   2.) It is nearly impossible to fine corn nuts anymore, so I used Chili Cheese flavored Fritos in their place.  3.) I didn’t have the wasabi pea, but they are tasty in this recipe. 4.) I didn’t feel like the honey was enough to give it a wonderful flavor so I sprinkled my double recipe with about 2 Tbsp of Honey Powder. 5.) I warmed the oil, soy, hot sauce and seasonings the store and then poured it over the dry ingredients in a large bowl, put on a large baking sheet and baked in a 250° F oven for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
