Rosemary & Thyme Roasted Walnuts


5 tsp Olive Oil (our Blood Orange Olive Oil is oh-so-good with this!)
5 tsp pure maple syrup
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper, Ground
1 tsp Rosemary, dried
1 tsp Dried Thyme Leaf
2 Cups walnut halves
1/4 tsp Kosher Salt


Heat oven to 350°F. In a bowl, whisk together 5 tsp olive oil with 5 tsp pure maple syrup and 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Stir in 1 tsp each Rosemary and Thyme. Add 2 Cups of walnut halves; toss ingredients well to coat.

Spread mixture evenly on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Bake nuts briefly until fragrant and crisp, 10 to 12 min. Remove baking sheet from oven, and sprinkle with kosher salt while nuts are still warm.

Allow to cool completely before storing in an air-tight container.
