Simple Marinade For Beef
This marinade is especially delicious used to prepare steak for the frying pan or grill.
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/3 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
1/4 Cup fresh lemon juice
3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce [or substitute 1 Tbsp AllSpice Worcestershire Powder]
1 Tbsp freshly ground Black Pepper
2 Tbsp Dijon-style prepared mustard
1 onion, sliced
2 cloves fresh or dried minced garlic
STEPS
Combine the olive oil, soy sauce, wine vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce or powder, ground black pepper, mustard, onion, and garlic. Mix together well, and use to marinate your favorite cut of beef. While marinating, keep meat in the refrigerator, for several hours or overnight. Let dish come to room temperature before removing beef from marinade and cooking as desired.
