Spicy Brownies with Poblano Powder
INGREDIENTS
Boxed Brownie Kit (with whatever extras are needed – usually oil & eggs)
Your favorite single-varietal Olive Oil
1 tsp Poblano Powder
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Espresso Brava Salt
STEPS
Chef Amy says: If you’re in a pinch to put a quick dessert together, this is a perfect way to add an extra touch to a storebought brownie mix.
If you’re looking for something a little fancier still, then try this with your favorite scratch-made brownie recipe or use this idea with our Chipotle Brownie recipe!
Prepare a boxed brownie mix (or your own recipe) according to directions, and add the Poblano Powder and Ground Cinnamon when mixing ingredients together.
Allow the baked brownies to cool, and frost with a prepared chocolate frosting (if you want). Sprinkle finished brownies with our Espresso Brava Salt for that extra “AllSpice touch.”
This salty-and-sweet treat is sure be a favorite among your friends!
