Spiced Nuts
The spices in this recipe are all found in our (cleverly-named) Spicy Nuts boxed set.
INGREDIENTS
4 cups mixed nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, cashews, peanuts)
4 Tbsp (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 – 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
3 Tbsp brown sugar
STEPS
This recipe is as easy as it is delicious!
Spread the nuts out on a large baking sheet or in a roasting pan. Bake at 400 degrees F until nuts are lightly toasted, about 8-10 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the spices and brown sugar, and stir to combine.
Transfer nuts to a serving bowl and pour in the butter mixture, and gently toss to coat evenly.
Serve warm or room temperature. Place in a decorative bowl and give as a gift!
