Tomato and Gnocchi Soup

2-3 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Roasted Garlic, Powder
1 Tbsp Basil, Leaf
1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1/2 tsp Smoked Black Pepper, Ground
1/2 yellow onion
2 15-ounce cans diced tomatoes
4 Cups broth (vegetable or chicken)
1 15-ounce can chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
2 Cups gnocchi
1 1/2 Cups frozen green beans
Salt, to taste

Finely chop the onion. Add olive oil and spices to a large pot and heat over medium-high heat. Add onion and sauté for about 3 minutes. As the onions are starting to soften, add 1 can of tomatoes (with liquid) to the pot. Cook an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring regularly.
Add second can of tomatoes, broth, chick peas, and gnocchi to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer for 15 minutes.
Add green beans, bring back up to simmer and cook for 10 additional minutes.
Serve with parmesan cheese, garlic bread, or fresh basil ribbons!
