We sell a wide variety of ingredients in the shop, many of which are hard-to-find elsewhere, and may be unfamiliar to even the most accomplished cooks and bakers. It’s one of the reasons we often get asked whether we offer cooking classes here at AllSpice.
Next best thing to a classroom on the premises. While our shop isn’t really set up for hands-on cooking classes, we are so fortunate that our East Village neighbor, Alessandra Meschini, has a cooking classroom right around the corner from us, at her business, Cooking With Alessandra.
We team up with Alessandra for a monthly class. For example, last month we facilitated a sausage-making class. And next week (March 31, 6 – 8 pm), our seasonally-themed workshop is titled, “Easter Brunch Starts With a Spicy Mimosa.”
