Presto! A new infused olive oil hits the shelves.

Presto! It’s Pesto! We’re bringing you the robust flavors of Italian pesto in our new Pesto Olive Oil.

Pesto (or pesto alla genovese) originated in Genoa Italy in the mid-nineteenth century and remains a staple in the region’s cuisine. It’s traditionally made by combining crushed garlic, European pine nuts, coarse salt, basil leaves, hard cheese like Parmigiano-Reggiano, blended with olive oil. Our infused olive oil version, however, is vegan and allergen free.

We enjoy this flavor brushed on chicken with a little salt and pepper before grilling, combined with our Traditional Balsamic to dress a caprese salad, and tossed with our favorite veggies prior to roasting them in the oven.

The Pesto Olive Oil also makes a great vinaigrette when combined with the Traditional Balsamic, White Traditional Balsamic, Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic or a red wine vinegar.

AllSpicer Rory suggests making yourself a delicious sandwich spread by creating an aioli using your favorite mayo recipe and adding a bit of the Pesto Olive Oil.
