1 Cup unsweetened almond milk
3 Tbsp nut butter (peanut, cashew, or almond, etc.)
1 ripe banana
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1 Tbsp Honey Sugar Powder *
1 tsp Vanilla Extract, Tahitian
1/2 Tbsp Dutch Pressed Cocoa Powder (Optional)
Add nut milk to a blender and sprinkle with chia seeds. Allow mixture to sit for a few minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.
Add other ingredients to blender pitcher, and blend until mixture is smooth. For a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again.
Yield 1 serving
*To make smoothie vegan, omit Honey Powder and substitute 1 Tbsp of some other plant-based sweetener
